The Detective is a two-channel preamp that combines both Elementary (blue channel) and Dr. Wattson (red channel) into a single unit so you can effectively have both pedals on hand and conveniently switch between them. Each channel has independent Gain, Volume, and Tonestack controls for complete control.
As a tube pedal, The Detective requires a high amount of current to operate correctly. I recommend a 9-12VDC power supply capable of delivering at least 600mA. Using less than this can damage the power supply and/or the pedal.
