The Black Eye is based on the classic Soldano SLO. It never gets fully “clean,” but it can go from mild overdrive to full screaming distortion, and cover everything in between. It uses a pair of 12AX7, but due to only having three controls I was able to fit it into the same smaller size (Hammond 125B) enclosure.
