The Wrecking Ball is based on the legendary Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier lead channel preamp. The Wrecking Ball uses three NOS Soviet 6N21B submini tubes in place of the 12AX7, allowing it to fit in a nice small box, though it does get HOT.
The Wrecking Ball takes a standard 9V input, and can accept center negative or center positive inputs. It uses internal regulators to supply 6.3V to the tube heaters and 200V to the plates, giving it the richness you expect from a full high-voltage preamp. This is currently the highest gain preamp/pedal I make, and it is BEEFY.
Controls: Gain, Presence, Volume, Bass, Mids, Treble
Like all Sushi Box FX pedals the Wrecking Ball is true bypass, hand-wired, and built with pride in Chicagoland, U.S.A.
