MIRAGE TREMOLO IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT STAGES AND IS NOT READY FOR RELEASE
Mirage Tremolo is an all-tube tremolo based on an old tube amp my friend from college found in his girlfriend’s garage. It had a fake Fender logo on it but no other markings indicating who made it, where it was made, or when, but it had a beautiful sounding tremolo section. I traced the schematic and forgot about it for 5 years, and now I’m trying to turn it into a standalone pedal. It would be a lot easier to use a solid-state LFO for an otherwise tube tremolo, but having a tube LFO for an all-tube unit is so much cooler.
Status (last updated 9/23/2021)
I have a prototype built up for Mirage Tremolo, but it’s not passing any signal right now and needs debugging. I’m not going to give up on this one easily because I personally really want it, so it will go to the debugging process when I have some time to devote to it.
