London Underground X
The London Underground is based on the preamp of the legendary Orange AD200B. It has some similarities to Particle Accelerator, but aside from a different voicing London Underground also gets more drive when the gain is turned up.
A popular request has been a London Underground with a Particle Accelerator tone stack, which gives the bite of London Underground with the richer low end of the Particle Accelerator. This is available at no additional cost, just make a note of "PA tone stack" or something similar in the notes section when ordering.
Controls: Gain, Master, Bass, Mids, Treble
The X Series London Underground uses a 12AX7 tube, just like the original Orange AD200B preamp. It comes in a 125B enclosure.
It takes a 9-12V input, and can accept center negative or center positive inputs. It uses internal regulators to supply 200V to the plates, giving it the richness you expect from a full high-voltage preamp.
CURRENT DRAW NOTE: Like many Sushi Box pedals, this one uses a tube, which means current draw is a bit higher than a standard pedal. While we haven't profiled X Series yet, you can expect current draw requirements to be ~350mA @ 12v.
